Candela is built by Ryan and Antonio — two FX traders who have been in the markets for the last decade. We didn't set out to start a software company. We set out to build the journal we wanted for ourselves.
For years, our journals lived where every trader's do: in spreadsheets with broken formulas, notes apps with screenshots we could never find again, and Notion pages we abandoned every few months. The tools that did exist felt like analytics dashboards built for someone else.
So we built our own. And what started as a personal tool became something we realised the whole industry needed.
